The five states that require a state-specific certification or licensing to work as a phlebotomist are:

If you plan to operate in one of these states, you must obtain state-approved certification. In all other states, while certification might not be legally required, it’s highly recommended for credibility, client trust, and insurance purposes.

What should I wear to my first class?

What if I still work a full-time job?
